Homeless Shelter for Families
From 2010 to 2018, I served as a volunteer with Home & Hope of San Mateo, providing a temporary living space and comprehensive support for families experiencing hardship. Home & Hope merged with LifeMoves.org in 2023 to expand these services across San Mateo and Santa Clara Counties between San Francisco and San Jose, California. I was on the rotation list of overnight hosts to provide evening meals, breakfasts, supervise children’s activities, and handle overnight emergencies.
